About Melanie Hansen

Throughout my career, I’ve worked in spas and owned a chiropractic clinic in beautiful Clifden Connemara, Ireland. It was such a wonderful experience living and working abroad.

Hi, My name is Melanie Hansen, LMT and owner of Water’s Edge Spa. I am originally from Green Bay, but have called Door County my home for the last several years. I graduated from Black Hawk College in Rock Island, Illinois and have been practicing massage for 14 years.

My favorite part of being a massage therapist is seeing the complete change from when someone first walks through my doors to incredibly relaxed and happy when they leave. Taking care of people is what I love to do!

Sister Bay is home for my family & we enjoy being out on the lake as much as we can. I’m incredibly proud to be part of the Sister Bay community and appreciate the support from everyone who has come to Waters Edge Spa. Owning a business is a dream come true for me & I look forward to serving this community for many years to come.
